Specialising in Whitewares, Ceram-U has the ability to introduce novel and innovative manufacturing and control methods to the global Ceramic Industry. Working with experts in the field there isn’t an issue within the whitewares industry that Ceram-U couldn’t assist in improving.

With a history of working with the big names in the industry in senior positions, Ceram-U founder Brian Keeley has worked with Ideal Standard, English China Clays, Whitfield and Son, Goonvean China Clays and latterly with Heritage Bathrooms for 15 years as Divisional Director-Ceramics.
During his time with the then Goonvean and Rostowrack China Clay Company he played a major role in the formation of Egypt as their largest export market, helping to build it from scratch to now in excess of 20,000 tonnes per year.

His stewardship of Heritage Bathrooms Ceramics Division brought a number of awards for introduction of new methodologies into the industry.
He helped introduce ‘Lean’ into Ceramic Manufacturing, reducing lead times from 3 months to 3 days, Work in Process by 90% and FG stock holding by 92%. Reduced Scrap rates by 50% in first year of implementation and absenteeism below 0.5%

He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.
